We looked through auction data and there wasn’t even anything with 200,000 miles, let alone 794,000, said Miles Thompson, VP of Thompson Sales Co. We gave him $1,000 and the customer was fine with that. Thompson will sell the pickup at auction because, retailing it would be embarrassing. It’s hard to look someone in the eye, with a straight face, and say, it has only 794,000 miles on it.
